This was posted around the time registration was due for a renew. Yes - posted. Via regular physical paper.
This is a fairly subtle scam, the letter promising to sell the domain for $249 for 2 years, which is overpriced dramatically (our pricing is roughly $20.00 for 24 months). The client nearly paid - a user with minimal 'techy' knowledge or a busy worker could well be sucked into this paying the fee.
We would like to warn customers against dealing with "Domain Register Pty Ltd", and registering the .com equivalent at a stupidly high price.
